The protection of your privacy is an important concern for OekoFor GbR. We would therefore ask you to read the following summary of data collection by our web service www.oekofor.de carefully.

The data protection declaration listed here is intended to clarify the type, scope and purpose of the collection of personal data by the website operator (OekoFor GbR). The collection and transfer of data complies with the requirements of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the BDSG (Federal Data Protection Act). Changes and corresponding updates to the data protection declaration cannot be ruled out, which is why we recommend that you take regular note of this data protection declaration.

We assure you that this data is used exclusively for the functioning and improvement of our website. According to the applicable regulations, this data is only stored for the time necessary for the purposes described. Exceptions apply if longer storage is provided for by the GDPR. The legally applicable deletion regulations are complied with.

OekoFor GbR takes the protection of your data seriously and treats it confidentially. Nevertheless, Internet-based data transmissions can have security gaps, so absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, you are free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, for example by telephone.

2. Personal data

The OekoFor GbR website collects and uses personal data. The data collection carried out here corresponds to a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. In addition, we are partly dependent on information from our users for the provision of our service. Data is only collected, utilised and forwarded to third parties to the extent permitted by law and/or if users have given their consent.

As the operator, we may only store personal data for a longer period of time, disclose it or subsequently access it if this is permitted by law (e.g. in the event of suspected illegal activities). By visiting and using our website, various personal data may be collected in accordance with Art. 4 GDPR, which you will find listed below:

Access data - external hosting

This website is hosted externally (Host: Alfahosting GmbH, Ankerstraße 3b, DE-06108 Halle (Saale); https://alfahosting.de). Data from every visit to our website is stored temporarily on the host server in a protocol file to ensure data security. To this end, the following data is stored for a maximum of 7 days, after which data are delete:

  • the date and time of access to the website the volume of data transferred
  • the address of the website visited directly before visiting our website (referrer)
  • the browser used
  • the operating system used
  • the IP address used, which is anonymised after 24 hours (the last eight digits are replaced with zeros)

Furthermore, we have a contractual agreement (order processing contract) with our website host to ensure that data processing is carried out in compliance with data protection.

Email communication (contact data)

If you contact us via email, the data you submit will be used to communicate with you. When contacting OekoFor GbR via email, data including your name, email address and IP address will be gathered. These information are within our legitimate interest if your email were, for example, to breach the law. We reserve the right to delete and if necessary report statements with contemptuous, defamatory, homophobic, or any other inflammatory content.

If you send an email to Oekofor GbR, we assume that we are authorised to reply to the email address used. If this is not the case, it may be advisable to consider using another channel of communication, for example contacting us via telephone or via regular postal mail.

3. Particularly personal data

We do not collect any particular categories of personal data according to Article 9 of the GDPR.

4. Data transfer to third parties

We do not pass your data on to third parties for commercial or non-commercial use. We also take appropriate measures to ensure that the data we collect cannot be externally viewed or accessed by third parties.

5. Cookies

The Oekofor GbR website implements no cookies.

Our website contains links to websites of other providers and social media. We would like to expressly point out that these websites process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies. OekoFor GbR has no influence on the compliance of other providers with data protection regulations.

x (former Twitter)

Our website contains a social media button from the social media network x (former Twitter). This button is a link to our account with this provider. As long as this button is not clicked, there is no transmission to this provider. If you click on this button, you will be redirected to the provider’s website. SoundCloud

Our website also contains a button, providing a link to our account with the streaming provider SoundCloud. This button is solely a link to our account with this provider. A transfer to the provider only takes place when you click on this button. 7. User rights

Regarding the processing of personal data, visitors of our website enjoy the following rights as stipulated in Articles 12 to 22 of the GDPR:

  • Right of access (pursuant to Article 15 GDPR) - This right grants full access to relevant personal data and other important criteria such as the purposes of data processing or the storage period. The exemptions specified in Article 34 BDSG apply.

  • Right of rectification (pursuant to Article 16 GDPR) – This right gives users the possibility to rectify inaccurate personal data concerning them.

  • Right to erasure (pursuant to Article 17 GDPR) - This right gives users the possibility to have data deleted. For data to be deleted, it is necessary that the personal data is no longer required, was unlawfully processed or that the consent to hold this data has been withdrawn. The exemptions specified in Article 35 BDSG apply.

  • Right to restriction of processing (pursuant to Article 18 GDPR) – This right gives users the possibility of provisionally preventing the further processing of relevant personal data. This applies, in particular, in a review phase of the user estabilishing, excercising or defending other legal claims.

  • Right to data portability (pursuant to Article 20 GDPR) – This prosivion gives users the right to obtain relevant personal data in a commonly used, machine-readable format, for example pdf, from the provider in order to pass it on to other providers where necessary.

  • Right to object (pursuant to Article 21 GDPR) – This right provides users with the possibilty to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of relevant personal data where this is justified regarding the performance of public tasks or lies in public or private interest. In accordance with Article 36 BDSG, this provision does not apply where an official authority is legally obligated to process the data.

  • Right to withraw consent (pursuant to Article 7 (3) GDPR) – Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. An informal communication via email is sufficient to withdraw your consent to data collection. The legitimacy of data processing carried out until the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.
