We are a young company, founded in Freiburg in 2018.
Our team have backgrounds in varying disciplines and complement each other well through their knowledge and experience in differing fields.
We have sound species knowledge (especially regarding birds and bats) and comprehensive programming skills.
They form the basis of our main areas of activity - automated data collection, data analysis and data visualization.
We are interested in carrying out research on ecological relationships in an innovative way, with the goal of practically applying the results of our research.
We are familiar with classical monitoring methods for birds and bats from our years of experience monitoring these species groups in the field. Based on this knowledge and experience we have developed Raspberry Pi-based recording devices, which can be implememented to collect data to assess various different ecological questions.
We evaluate data sets using an R-based approach and develop automated analysis procedures (including machine learning). Using such methods we are able to analyse vast amounts of data.
We visualise complex data using interactive R shiny web apps and other tools. In this way, even large amounts of data can be explored easily and clearly.
